Product Assembly Workshop
Assembly brings molded, cast and machined parts together into a finished fitting. JKTE uses product-specific work instructions and inspection points to check that the correct components are installed in the correct orientation.

Assembly checks by product
- Tension clamps: verify wedge movement, grip interfaces, bail retention and component fit as applicable.
- Suspension clamps: check support surfaces, liners, fasteners and the specified cable range.
- Insulation piercing connectors: check contact alignment, insulating parts and sealing components to the approved design.
- Brackets and connection fittings: check fastener completeness and mating dimensions.
Fastening and fit
Specified torque is checked where the design uses threaded fastening. Wedge-type clamps require their own assembly and functional checks; a single torque rule does not apply to every clamp. Cable contact surfaces should be free from damaging burrs or misaligned parts.
Release to final inspection
Visual and functional checks help identify missing parts, incorrect assembly and marking errors. Finished units then follow the agreed inspection plan, including relevant mechanical or electrical tests. Test scope depends on product type and the purchase specification.
Custom assembly requirements
For OEM orders, approve the component list, drawing, marking and packaging before production. Any change to material or construction should be reviewed for its effect on fit and performance.
