Warranty Coverage & Exclusions

JKTE provides a five-year standard warranty from shipment for manufacturing-related defects, including material flaws and assembly errors. Clear coverage and exclusions help customers understand how a claim will be reviewed.

What is outside manufacturing-defect coverage

  • Incorrect product selection: compatibility problems caused by selecting a model that does not match the cable, environment or engineering conditions despite the technical recommendations provided.
  • Customer-specified lower-grade materials: failures attributable to a requested material specification below the required performance standard.
  • Improper installation or use: incompatible cables, incorrect cable sizes, omitted installation steps, incorrect assembly or unauthorized modification.
  • Transport, handling and storage damage: damage caused during transportation, secondary handling or warehousing, including improper stacking, moisture or impact.
  • Consequential losses: secondary damage and consequential losses are outside the published product warranty compensation scope. Third-party claims are assessed individually and require supporting evidence.
  • External events: natural disasters, lightning, vandalism and abnormal external damage beyond the stated coverage.

Submit a claim with supporting information

Provide the order reference, product model, affected quantity, photographs and a description of the installation and operating conditions. A batch number or carton label helps us locate the relevant production records. The team will review the information and advise on the next assessment step.

Support and available remedies

For confirmed manufacturing defects, the published policy provides replacement, component replacement, return or reshipment options, with a reasonable refund solution for irreparable defects. Technical guidance and failure analysis remain available even when an issue falls outside warranty coverage.

Review terms with your order

Check the applicable specification and warranty terms before purchasing, particularly for customized materials or project-specific requirements. Extended warranty arrangements must be discussed separately.
