Define low-temperature requirements

Where winter conditions matter, state both operating and installation temperatures. Plastic components, metal parts and cable jackets must be considered together. Ask for relevant product evidence rather than relying on a general description such as cold-resistant.

Check the full mechanical assembly

Provide cable diameter, construction, required clamp load and bracket arrangement. Wind and ice requirements belong in the project design; thicker metal or a larger clamp is not automatically the correct solution.

Temperature range and any specified environmental tests.
Material, coating and mechanical acceptance criteria.
Quantity by model, marking and packaging requirements.

Sampling and supply planning

Sample review helps confirm dimensions and assembly fit before a production order. For customized fittings, agree the drawing revision and inspection plan, then coordinate delivery with the required installation schedule.
