Temperature and mechanical requirements
State the required operating and installation temperature ranges. Provide the design loads and any wind or ice criteria from the project engineer. A product described as heavy-duty or cold-resistant still needs model-specific evidence against those requirements.
Choose fittings as an assembly
Anchoring clamps, suspension supports, brackets and connection hardware must work together. For ADSS applications, include the cable diameter, jacket type and cable manufacturer requirements. A clamp cannot be selected for a long span from diameter alone.

- Material and surface protection specifications.
- Relevant mechanical and environmental test requirements.
- Batch identification and inspection report format.
