Laser Marking for Cable Fittings

Clear product identification helps distributors and installation teams match a fitting to its specification. JKTE provides marking options for optical cable fittings and power accessories, with the method selected to suit the component material and available marking area.

Product Marking & Traceability — A readable code must connect to the right records

What can be marked

  • Product model and approved size range.
  • Customer logo or brand, subject to artwork approval.
  • Production batch or other agreed traceability code.
  • Additional identification specified in the approved drawing.

Material and artwork review

Aluminum alloy, steel and polymer components need different marking settings. We review contrast, legibility, position and the effect on the finished surface before approving the marking method. A trial sample helps confirm that small characters remain readable.

Marking approval and inspection

The approved artwork and drawing define the marking content. Production checks compare the model code, orientation and appearance with that reference. Batch identifiers are useful only when they can be linked to the relevant production and inspection records.

Prepare an OEM marking request

Provide your logo file, required text, preferred location and any customer-specific marking rules. Product marking does not replace the technical documentation or conformity assessment required for the destination market.
