Reduce Hidden Procurement Costs
The unit price is only one part of the cost of a cable fitting. Incorrect selection, missing components, unsuitable packaging or late specification changes can add installation work, replacements and freight costs.

Check compatibility before ordering
Confirm cable diameter or conductor size, required load, installation arrangement and the complete assembly. A clamp and its bracket must be evaluated together where they form a kit. Sample approval can expose fit problems before a larger order.
Make quotations comparable
- Use the same drawing, material and finish requirements.
- Confirm which components are included in the unit price.
- State inspection, reports and sample requirements.
- Compare packaging, trade terms and shipment scope.
- Include tooling charges and any one-off development work.
Reduce avoidable handling and replacement
Agree carton quantities, product identification and protective packaging with the supplier. Receiving teams should be able to identify each model and batch without opening every pack. Consistent documentation also makes repeat procurement easier.
Plan changes early
Changes to material, marking or packaging after production starts may affect cost and delivery. Confirm the purchase specification in advance and keep approved revisions with the order records.
