Product Overview
These clamps secure messenger-supported figure-8 fibre optic cables of different diameters in aerial FTTx networks.
Messenger Compatibility
Clamp selection depends on the messenger: steel or dielectric. FRP and aramid messengers generally use plastic bodies and wedges. Metal messengers typically require zinc gripping teeth and aluminium-alloy bodies to withstand higher tensile loads.
Applications and Features
Suitable arrangements include dead ends, double dead ends and double anchoring. The wedge design grips the cable while protecting its sheath for lasting service. Flexible stainless-steel bails simplify attachment to compatible pole brackets and hooks.
