Finished Product & Pre-Shipment Inspection
Finished-product inspection checks the supplied fitting against the approved specification before dispatch. The inspection plan defines the required visual, dimensional, functional and performance checks for each product type.

Final inspection checklist
- Correct model, component completeness and assembly orientation.
- Critical dimensions and compatibility with the specified interfaces.
- Surface condition, finish and absence of harmful edges.
- Required mechanical or electrical performance checks.
- Product marking, carton labels, quantities and packing condition.
Choose relevant tests
Tensile or grip tests may be relevant to a clamp, while an electrical connector needs its specified electrical checks. Corrosion or environmental testing follows the agreed method and scope. Not every test applies to every product or to every individual unit.
Inspection records and batch release
A useful report identifies the product, batch, inspection criteria and recorded results. Any nonconformity must be reviewed before release. The customer should agree additional report or witness requirements before production starts.
Prepare for shipping
Packing should protect the goods and make models and quantities easy to identify. Coordinate independent inspection and document review with cargo readiness so shipment is not booked before the required checks are complete.
