Aluminum Wedge Anchor for ADSS Cable PA-01000
The PA-01000 aluminum tension clamp anchors ADSS cables during the construction of FTTx networks.
Features
- Suitable for LV ABC and FTTx line applications
- Self-adjusting wedges grip the neutral messenger without damaging it
- Cast aluminum-alloy body, stainless steel bail and UV-resistant wedges
- Mechanical strength of up to 10 kN
- Stable performance in outdoor conditions
- Economically priced
Application
The PA-01000 clamp anchors 8–12 mm ADSS cables on utility poles, telecommunications supports, brackets and hooks. It retains the cable under mechanical load at terminal and intermediate positions on aerial routes.
Applications include FTTx and FTTH access systems, GPON, CATV and backbone telecommunications networks. It can serve inter-building links, road crossings, industrial facilities, residential developments and rural broadband projects requiring maintained cable tension and outdoor durability.
The wedge system holds the cable without damaging its sheath and helps control sag associated with wind, ice, vibration and temperature changes. Corrosion-resistant cast aluminum alloy, UV-resistant polymer wedges and stainless steel components support use in coastal, humid, hot and other demanding environments.

Ultimate tensile strength testing evaluates a product’s capacity to withstand mechanical pulling loads. Opposing tensile forces are applied to a specimen until it deforms or fails. The resulting measurements provide information on elongation, yield point, tensile strength and ultimate strength.
JKTE uses tensile testing for pole-line suspension clamps, preformed guy grips, ADSS dead-end fittings, stainless steel bands, FTTH drop clamps and tension clamps.
For overhead optical cables and their accessories, endurance testing combines mechanical and thermal loading with oscillating stresses. The applicable test values depend on the requirements of IEC 61284.
These standard-based tests are applied before new products are released and during routine production to check conformity with quality requirements. JKTE’s in-house laboratory carries out the relevant series of type tests.
