Aluminum Aerial Fiber Cable Anchor PA-01000

Aluminum Aerial Fiber Cable Anchor PA-01000

The PA-01000 aluminum aerial anchor clamp is designed to tension aerial bundled cables during outdoor FTTx installation and is listed for ADSS anchoring applications.

Features

  • Straightforward installation without additional tools
  • Durable aluminum-alloy, UV-resistant plastic and stainless steel construction
  • Self-adjusting wedges retain the cable under tension
  • Consistent performance for extended service
  • Stable performance in outdoor environments
  • Available directly from the manufacturer

Application

The PA-01000 clamp is used outdoors on telecommunications supports to secure and protect aerial optical cables. Typical routes include connections between buildings and industrial structures.

The aluminum anchoring assembly uses self-adjusting wedges to hold the cable under tension. Installation requires no additional tools, and its durable materials support prolonged outdoor use.

Ultimate tensile strength testing evaluates a product’s capacity to withstand mechanical pulling loads. Opposing tensile forces are applied to a specimen until it deforms or fails. The resulting measurements provide information on elongation, yield point, tensile strength and ultimate strength.

JKTE uses tensile testing for pole-line suspension clamps, preformed guy grips, ADSS dead-end fittings, stainless steel bands, FTTH drop clamps and tension clamps.

For overhead optical cables and their accessories, endurance testing combines mechanical and thermal loading with oscillating stresses. The applicable test values depend on the requirements of IEC 61284.

These standard-based tests are applied before new products are released and during routine production to check conformity with quality requirements. JKTE’s in-house laboratory carries out the relevant series of type tests.
