Application
The PA-406 clamp mounts on telecommunications supports, pole brackets and wall hooks to maintain cable tension and limit movement associated with wind and changing temperatures. It accommodates ADSS cable and figure-8 fiber cable with an FRP messenger.
Its wedge mechanism holds the cable securely while protecting the jacket. Lightweight construction and a straightforward fitting process shorten deployment time and reduce labor costs in modern FTTx infrastructure.

Ultimate tensile strength testing evaluates a product’s capacity to withstand mechanical pulling loads. Opposing tensile forces are applied to a specimen until it deforms or fails. The resulting measurements provide information on elongation, yield point, tensile strength and ultimate strength.
JKTE uses tensile testing for pole-line suspension clamps, preformed guy grips, ADSS dead-end fittings, stainless steel bands, FTTH drop clamps and tension clamps.
For overhead optical cables and their accessories, endurance testing combines mechanical and thermal loading with oscillating stresses. The applicable test values depend on the requirements of IEC 61284.
These standard-based tests are applied before new products are released and during routine production to check conformity with quality requirements. JKTE’s in-house laboratory carries out the relevant series of type tests.
