With a specified minimum breaking load of 4 kN, the HC 10-15 holds 10–15 mm ADSS cables at intermediate poles. A patterned contact area increases grip and helps prevent cable movement or release, while the UV-resistant insert protects the cable against environmental exposure.

The fitting helps maintain cable position, sag and bending radius, reducing mechanical stress from wind vibration, temperature variation and cable movement.
