Application
The PS-D8 supports 8–12 mm optical cables and has a specified minimum breaking load of 1.5 kN. Its patterned contact area increases friction and helps prevent loosening or cable release. The UV-resistant plastic component protects the cable from outdoor exposure.
It mounts on utility poles and telecommunications supports along straight routes or moderate deviations. The clamp retains round ADSS and other optical cables while reducing mechanical stress from wind and vibration and protecting the sheath during long-term outdoor service. Typical applications include FTTx, CATV and telecommunications networks.
