Stainless Steel Drop Cable Tension Clamp ODWAC-13
ODWAC-13 is a stainless steel tension clamp for anchoring flat or round optical drop cables at the dead ends of FTTH and FTTX routes.
Features
- Can be installed by hand without additional tools
- Weather-resistant stainless steel construction
- Accommodates both flat and round optical drop cables
- Compatible with drive hooks, pole brackets and related fittings
- Designed for durable service and high tensile resistance
- Cost-effective anchoring solution
Application
ODWAC-13 secures drop cables between distribution closures and subscriber locations. Typical mounting points include utility poles, wall hooks and building entrances on aerial FTTH and FTTX networks.
The clamp supports last-mile broadband rollouts and telecommunications access construction in urban and rural areas. It provides mechanical retention against wind-induced movement, vibration and other outdoor stresses. Round cable diameter is 3–6 mm; the flat-cable dimensions and material are listed in the specification table. Breaking load depends on the cable used.
| Product code | Round cable diameter, mm | Flat cable size (h×w), mm | Material | MBL,KN |
| ODWAC-13 | 3-6 | <4×<13 | Stainless steel | Depend on cable |
Ultimate tensile testing measures the load a component can sustain under mechanical tension. Opposing pulling forces are applied until the specimen deforms or fractures. Measurements can include elongation, yield point, tensile strength and ultimate strength.
This method is used for pole-line suspension clamps, preformed guy grips, ADSS dead-end fittings, stainless steel banding, FTTH drop clamps and strain clamps. Endurance testing may combine tensile loading with thermal and oscillating stresses; applicable conditions are selected with reference to IEC 61284 for overhead-line fittings. Such tests can support product qualification and routine production quality control. This description explains the test method; it is not a model-specific test report.
