Flat Drop Cable Tension Clamp ODWAC-LJKT

Flat Drop Cable Tension Clamp ODWAC-LJKT

ODWAC-LJKT tensions and supports flat optical drop cables at terminal and intermediate points in aerial FTTH networks.

Features

  • Automatically seating wedge
  • Removable, straightforward installation
  • Retained bail helps prevent accidental detachment
  • Durable Dacro-coated steel construction resists corrosion
  • Dimpled shim grips the cable while protecting its sheath
  • Dependable outdoor performance at an economical cost

Application

Use this clamp to anchor last-mile fiber connections on poles, external building surfaces or wall fittings. It holds the cable securely while protecting the jacket, supporting stable broadband service. Hand installation avoids specialist tools and reduces fitting time. Typical projects include subscriber connections and urban or rural FTTH distribution.

Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.

This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
