Open-Bail Stainless Steel Drop Clamp ODWAC-12S
ODWAC-12S supports and tensions optical or telephone drop cables at dead ends and intermediate points in FTTH and FTTx networks.
Features
- Installed by hand without extra tools
- Open bail attaches to hooks and pole brackets
- Corrosion-resistant stainless steel
- Durable exposure performance
- Economical design
Application
This flat-cable clamp is suitable for wooden, concrete and metal poles as well as building facades. It provides cable retention without jacket damage for residential connections and access-network expansion. The stated span range is 30–50 m, cable size is below 5 × 13 mm and minimum breaking load is 0.5 kN.

General test method
Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.
This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
