Plastic-Shim Stainless Steel Drop Clamp ODWAC-12P
ODWAC-12P anchors and supports flat optical or telephone drop cables at dead ends and intermediate points in aerial FTTH, FTTx and FTTB networks.
Features
- Hand installation without special tools
- High mechanical retention
- Plastic shim improves support of the optical cable
- Durable stainless steel and UV-resistant thermoplastic
- Stable outdoor service
- Economical design
Application
Mount this clamp on poles, walls or facade brackets to retain subscriber drop cables in changing weather. The compatible flat cable is below 5 × 13 mm, with a 0.8 kN minimum breaking load and a 30–50 m span range. It supports residential and commercial last-mile fiber projects with straightforward installation and low maintenance needs.

General test method
Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.
This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
