Polymer FTTH Drop Cable Tension Clamp ODWAC-10
ODWAC-10 tensions flat optical or telephone drop cables for outdoor last-mile subscriber connections.
Features
- Wedge seats automatically during loading
- Fast hand installation
- UV-resistant plastic with a stainless steel attachment loop
- Raised shim texture improves cable grip
- Stable outdoor performance
- Cost-effective design
Application
The stated span range is 30–50 m and minimum breaking load is 0.5 kN. The clamp mounts on wooden, steel and concrete poles for FTTH, FTTB and FTTx access networks. It supports broadband expansion, network upgrades and residential or commercial subscriber links. Cable compatibility is retained exactly in the technical table.

General test method
Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.
This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
