Stainless Steel FTTH Drop Wire Anchor ODWAC-12

Stainless Steel FTTH Drop Wire Anchor ODWAC-12

ODWAC-12 tensions and supports optical or telephone drop cables at terminal and intermediate points in FTTH and FTTx networks.

Features

  • Fast tool-free assembly
  • High mechanical strength
  • Removable design protects the cable jacket
  • Durable corrosion-resistant stainless steel
  • Fits hooks, pole brackets and related fittings
  • Stable outdoor service at an economical cost

Application

This clamp retains flat drop cables between poles and subscriber buildings for last-mile fiber access. The compatible cable is below 5 × 13 mm; minimum breaking load is 1.2 kN and span range is 30–50 m. Typical uses include ISP access networks, residential broadband links and other outdoor telecommunications projects.

Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.

This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
