Extended-Body ADSS Anchor Clamp PA-2001-12-16

Extended-Body ADSS Anchor Clamp PA-2001-12-16

The PA-2001-12-16 wedge anchor clamp tensions ADSS optical cables on overhead poles. It is intended for straight cable routes with spans of up to 100 meters.

Features

  • Fitted without installation tools
  • Wedges adjust automatically to the cable
  • Stainless steel attachment bail
  • Grip protects the cable jacket
  • Opening bail permits rapid attachment
  • Design helps prevent accidental detachment
  • Stable performance in outdoor conditions
  • Extended body helps limit optical attenuation associated with cable clamping

Application

The PA-2001-12-16 wedge clamp anchors and tensions 12–16 mm ADSS cables at terminal and intermediate positions in outdoor aerial networks. The maximum span is 100 m, including straight-route installations.

The fitting mounts on poles, brackets and hooks in FTTH, FTTx, GPON, CATV and backbone telecommunications projects. Its self-adjusting wedges retain the cable without damaging the outer sheath, protecting transmission performance and cable service life.

UV-resistant polymer components and a stainless steel bail resist corrosion, temperature changes and demanding outdoor conditions. Tool-free fitting reduces installation time and labor costs in residential developments, industrial sites, campuses and rural broadband infrastructure.

Ultimate tensile strength testing evaluates a product’s capacity to withstand mechanical pulling loads. Opposing tensile forces are applied to a specimen until it deforms or fails. The resulting measurements provide information on elongation, yield point, tensile strength and ultimate strength.

JKTE uses tensile testing for pole-line suspension clamps, preformed guy grips, ADSS dead-end fittings, stainless steel bands, FTTH drop clamps and tension clamps.

For overhead optical cables and their accessories, endurance testing combines mechanical and thermal loading with oscillating stresses. The applicable test values depend on the requirements of IEC 61284.

These standard-based tests are applied before new products are released and during routine production to check conformity with quality requirements. JKTE’s in-house laboratory carries out the relevant series of type tests.
