ADSS Cable Anchoring Clamp PA-2606
The PA-2606 wedge tension clamp, also known as an overhead tension clamp, anchors and tensions ADSS cable at intermediate positions and dead ends during outdoor aerial FTTH installation.
Features
- Fitted by hand
- Self-adjusting wedges simplify installation and use
- Stainless steel bail with a UV-resistant plastic body
- Protects the cable jacket during fitting and service
- Opening bail allows quick attachment to closed pole brackets
- Stable performance under outdoor environmental conditions
- Economically priced
Application
The PA-2606 wedge tension clamp is intended mainly for mounting on telecommunications brackets, including installations between buildings and industrial structures, where it holds and protects fiber optic cables.
Used throughout outdoor aerial fiber networks, this PA-type fitting anchors and tensions ADSS cables, self-supporting aerial cables and drop cables. Typical mounting points include utility poles, crossarms and building brackets at line ends, changes in direction and intermediate anchoring positions. Its self-adjusting wedges grip the cable while protecting the outer jacket and internal fibers.
UV-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials support extended outdoor use in demanding weather. Applications include FTTH networks, metropolitan fiber links and industrial communications. Installation requires no specialist tools. By maintaining cable tension and limiting sag, the fitting helps support reliable operation of the optical transmission system.

Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS) testing, also described as maximum mechanical tensile testing, evaluates how well a product withstands tensile loading.
During the test, opposing pulling forces are applied until the specimen deforms or breaks. Measurements can provide information on elongation, yield behavior, tensile strength and ultimate load capacity.
JKTE performs this testing on the following product groups:
- Suspension clamps for pole installations
- Preformed cable grips
- ADSS strain and dead-end fittings
- Stainless steel straps and banding
- FTTH drop cable clamps and suspension fittings
- Anchoring and tension clamps
Under IEC 61284, overhead optical cables and associated fittings are subjected to endurance testing involving mechanical loading, temperature-related stresses and oscillation. Test conditions are selected to match the applicable requirements.
These standard tests are carried out before new products are introduced and during regular production to verify conformity with quality requirements. Our internal laboratory has the equipment needed to carry out this range of type tests in accordance with the relevant standards.
