ADSS Cable Retention and Anchor Clamp PA-466
The PA-466 anchoring clamp secures all-dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) optical cables at terminal and intermediate locations. Its anchoring action helps prevent cable movement and damage caused by wind, ice, snow and other environmental loads.
Features
- Automatically adjusting wedge grip
- Secure and stable cable retention
- Fitted without additional tools
- UV-resistant thermoplastic and stainless steel bail for outdoor stability
- Bail attaches to pole brackets and hooks
- Distributes the anchoring load effectively
- Economically priced
Application
The PA-466 ADSS anchoring clamp uses high-strength, corrosion-resistant materials for service in demanding outdoor conditions. Its design accounts for cable construction and installation needs, distributing anchoring loads to avoid excessive localized cable stress.
The fitting secures and protects optical cables on telecommunications supports, including routes between buildings and industrial structures. It retains the cable at intermediate and terminal locations and helps resist displacement or damage caused by wind, ice, snow and other environmental effects.

Ultimate tensile strength testing evaluates a product’s capacity to withstand mechanical pulling loads. Opposing tensile forces are applied to a specimen until it deforms or fails. The resulting measurements provide information on elongation, yield point, tensile strength and ultimate strength.
JKTE uses tensile testing for pole-line suspension clamps, preformed guy grips, ADSS dead-end fittings, stainless steel bands, FTTH drop clamps and tension clamps.
For overhead optical cables and their accessories, endurance testing combines mechanical and thermal loading with oscillating stresses. The applicable test values depend on the requirements of IEC 61284.
These standard-based tests are applied before new products are released and during routine production to check conformity with quality requirements. JKTE’s in-house laboratory carries out the relevant series of type tests.
