Figure-8 Fiber Cable Dead-End Clamp PA-59

Figure-8 Fiber Cable Dead-End Clamp PA-59

The PA-59 anchor clamp secures and tensions figure-8 fiber cables or round ADSS cables in outdoor aerial FTTH installations.

Features

  • Self-adjusting wedges for tool-free fitting
  • Durable UV-resistant thermoplastic body and stainless steel bail
  • Secure grip without cable jacket damage or slippage
  • Stable outdoor performance
  • Economically priced

Application

The PA-59 anchor clamp maintains cable tension on telecommunications poles, distribution routes and access networks while protecting the cable from mechanical damage in service. Typical installations run between utility poles, building facades, industrial premises and residential structures.

Automatically adjusting wedges hold the cable securely without harming its jacket. Applications include FTTH, FTTB, FTTx, GPON and last-mile broadband networks.

The UV-resistant thermoplastic body and stainless steel bail withstand corrosion, changing temperatures and demanding weather. Installation on brackets or hooks requires no specialist tools, helping reduce labor time and costs. The fitting provides durable, economical cable anchoring for urban and rural aerial networks.

Ultimate tensile strength testing evaluates a product’s capacity to withstand mechanical pulling loads. Opposing tensile forces are applied to a specimen until it deforms or fails. The resulting measurements provide information on elongation, yield point, tensile strength and ultimate strength.

JKTE uses tensile testing for pole-line suspension clamps, preformed guy grips, ADSS dead-end fittings, stainless steel bands, FTTH drop clamps and tension clamps.

For overhead optical cables and their accessories, endurance testing combines mechanical and thermal loading with oscillating stresses. The applicable test values depend on the requirements of IEC 61284.

These standard-based tests are applied before new products are released and during routine production to check conformity with quality requirements. JKTE’s in-house laboratory carries out the relevant series of type tests.
