Aluminum ADSS Cable Tension Anchor PA-700
The PA-700 aluminum anchor clamp secures and tensions ADSS optical cables during FTTx line installation.
Features
- Bail design helps prevent accidental detachment
- Self-adjusting wedges protect the cable jacket against cutting
- Cast aluminum-alloy body, stainless steel bail and UV-resistant wedges
- Mechanical strength of up to 8 kN
- Stable performance in outdoor conditions
- Economically priced
Application
The PA-700 clamp attaches to utility poles, brackets, wall hooks and other telecommunications supports in FTTH, FTTx, GPON, CATV and broadband access installations. It serves residential developments, industrial facilities, campuses, rural broadband routes and links between buildings.
Its self-adjusting wedges retain the cable without cutting the sheath, helping preserve optical performance and service life. By maintaining tension, the fitting limits sag and accommodates environmental loading from wind, vibration, ice and changing temperatures.
A high-strength aluminum alloy body, UV-resistant polymer inserts and stainless steel bail provide corrosion and weather resistance. Straightforward, tool-free fitting reduces installation time and cost for contractors and network operators.

Ultimate tensile strength testing evaluates a product’s capacity to withstand mechanical pulling loads. Opposing tensile forces are applied to a specimen until it deforms or fails. The resulting measurements provide information on elongation, yield point, tensile strength and ultimate strength.
JKTE uses tensile testing for pole-line suspension clamps, preformed guy grips, ADSS dead-end fittings, stainless steel bands, FTTH drop clamps and tension clamps.
For overhead optical cables and their accessories, endurance testing combines mechanical and thermal loading with oscillating stresses. The applicable test values depend on the requirements of IEC 61284.
These standard-based tests are applied before new products are released and during routine production to check conformity with quality requirements. JKTE’s in-house laboratory carries out the relevant series of type tests.
