Flat Drop Wire S-Hook Retainer D1.L
D1.L tensions flat FTTH drop cables at dead ends and intermediate points during last-mile network installation.
Features
- No specialist fitting tools needed
- UV-resistant polymer body and galvanized steel hook
- Attaches readily to hooks and brackets
- Raised gripping surfaces improve cable friction
- Durable outdoor retention
- Economical installation
Application
Use this clamp on poles or walls to support subscriber drop cables in aerial distribution networks. Its specified cable size is 2 × (3–7) mm, with a 0.5 kN minimum breaking load and 30–50 m span range. It suits residential fiber connections, broadband access rollouts and outdoor telecommunications routes.

General test method
Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.
This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
