Application
This compact clamp secures subscriber cables on aerial routes for residential broadband, rural FTTH and telecommunications infrastructure. The table lists flat 2.0 × 3.0 / 2.0 × 5.0 mm and round 2.0–5.0 mm cables, with a 0.5 kN minimum breaking load. The stated span range is 30–50 m. Refer to the material table for this variant.
| Product code | Cable size (mm) | MBL,KN | Materials |
| D1.M | Flat 2.0*3.0 / 2.0*5.0 Round 2.0-5.0 | 0.5 | UV resistant plastic and stainless steel |
General test method
Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.
This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
