Stainless Steel Flat Drop Wire Clamp ODWAC-05
ODWAC-05 tensions and supports flat optical or telephone drop cables at terminal and intermediate aerial connection points.
Features
- Quick hand installation
- Self-seating wedge prevents cable movement and sheath damage
- Durable stainless steel resists corrosion
- Reliable exposure performance
- Economical construction
Application
For flat drop cables below 5 mm high and 12 mm wide, this clamp has a 0.7 kN minimum breaking load and a 30–50 m span range. It anchors last-mile fiber routes while limiting excessive bending and crushing. The corrosion-resistant construction suits outdoor broadband access and telecommunications installations.

General test method
Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.
This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
