304 Stainless Steel Aerial Drop Clamp ODWAC-12

304 Stainless Steel Aerial Drop Clamp ODWAC-12

ODWAC-12 tensions flat FTTH cables or telephone drop wires at terminal and intermediate points in aerial access networks.

Features

  • Hand fitting without specialist tools
  • Durable SUS 304 stainless steel
  • Shim contains 26 gripping holes arranged in two rows
  • Compatible with hooks, brackets and related pole fittings
  • Dependable outdoor exposure performance
  • Economical design

Application

This corrosion-resistant variant suits coastal areas, humid climates and industrial locations. Use it for optical drop cable anchoring on poles and walls. Its specification covers flat cables below 6 × 13 mm, with a 1.2 kN minimum breaking load and 30–50 m span range, supporting long-term outdoor broadband installations.

General test method

Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.

This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
