Open-Loop Flat Fiber Drop Clamp ODWAC-12H

Open-Loop Flat Fiber Drop Clamp ODWAC-12H

ODWAC-12H tensions flat optical drop cables or telephone drop wires at dead ends and intermediate FTTH supports.

Features

  • Tool-free, removable installation protects the cable sheath
  • Stainless steel with durable UV-resistant thermoplastic
  • Open loop connects to hooks, brackets and other fittings
  • Shim has 38 embossed gripping holes
  • Stable outdoor service
  • Economical design

Application

This clamp secures aerial FTTH drop cables on pole hardware and wall brackets. Its cable range is below 4 × 8 mm, minimum breaking load is 0.5 kN and stated span range is 30–50 m. It provides cable support and retention for fiber access deployments and broadband network extensions.

General test method

Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.

This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
