Dielectric FTTH Tension Anchor ODWAC-PHJKT

Dielectric FTTH Tension Anchor ODWAC-PHJKT

ODWAC-PHJKT provides tension anchoring for flat optical drop cables in overhead FTTH installations.

Features

  • Self-seating wedge
  • Lightweight construction and straightforward fitting
  • Fully dielectric, UV-resistant thermoplastic
  • Open bail fits closed mounting hooks or brackets
  • Durable outdoor performance
  • Economical cable retention

Application

This clamp connects distribution points to subscriber buildings in FTTH and FTTx networks while limiting excessive mechanical stress on the cable. It accommodates flat cables below 4 × 8 mm, with a 0.5 kN minimum breaking load and 30–50 m span range. Applications include residential, commercial and industrial broadband access.

General test method

Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.

This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
