Messenger-Cable FTTH S Clamp SO-TYPEJKT
SO-TYPEJKT tensions self-supporting FTTH drop cables with steel messengers at outdoor dead-end connections.
Features
- Attachment loop designed to resist accidental release
- High mechanical retention
- No additional fitting tools required
- UV-resistant thermoplastic and durable stainless steel
- Stable outdoor service
- Economical design
Application
This S clamp supports drop cable routing in aerial FTTH and FTTx networks and works with compatible drop cable clamps and pole fittings. The specified flat cable is 2.0 × 5.0 mm with a messenger, with a 0.5 kN minimum breaking load and 30–50 m span range. Typical projects include residential, commercial and rural broadband installations.

General test method
Ultimate tensile testing determines how much mechanical tension a component can withstand. Opposing pulling forces are increased until the specimen deforms or fails. Recorded properties can include elongation, yield point and ultimate tensile strength.
This method applies to cable suspension and tension fittings, preformed grips, ADSS dead ends, stainless steel banding and FTTH drop clamps. Endurance programmes may combine tensile loading, temperature changes and oscillating stresses under conditions selected with reference to IEC 61284. Such evaluation supports product qualification and production quality control. This is a description of a test method, not evidence of completed testing for an individual JKTE model.
