Rotating Fiber Drop Cable Tension Clamp FISH-35
FISH-35 tensions optical drop cables at dead ends and downlead points on outdoor FTTx routes.
Features
- Self-adjusting rotating design
- Fast, tool-free fitting
- UV-resistant plastic and stainless steel components for durability
- Gripping arrangement helps protect the outer cable jacket
- Accommodates 4.0–5.0 mm round cable
- Specified span: less than 70 m
- Breaking load depends on the cable used
- Cost-effective support for outdoor service
Application
FISH-35 anchors drop cables between distribution networks and subscriber premises. Typical locations include poles, walls and building entry points in FTTH and FTTX access systems.
The clamp provides mechanical retention while limiting stress on the cable sheath. Its rotating design, textured contact surfaces and stainless steel attachment support straightforward installation and stable cable positioning. Applications include residential, commercial and industrial broadband connections requiring durable outdoor cable support.

General test method
Ultimate tensile testing measures the load a component can sustain under mechanical tension. Opposing pulling forces are applied until the specimen deforms or fractures. Measurements can include elongation, yield point, tensile strength and ultimate strength.
This method is used for pole-line suspension clamps, preformed guy grips, ADSS dead-end fittings, stainless steel banding, FTTH drop clamps and strain clamps. Endurance testing may combine tensile loading with thermal and oscillating stresses; applicable conditions are selected with reference to IEC 61284 for overhead-line fittings. Such tests can support product qualification and routine production quality control. This description explains the test method; it is not a model-specific test report.
