Compact ADSS Drop Cable Anchor FISH-4

Compact ADSS Drop Cable Anchor FISH-4

FISH-4 anchors round ADSS and optical drop cables at terminal or intermediate points in outdoor FTTH networks.

Features

  • Narrow body with retained components
  • Designed for round optical drop cables
  • Installs without additional tools
  • UV-resistant plastic construction for outdoor use
  • Accepts cable diameters of 4–6.2 mm
  • Specified span range: 30–70 m; minimum breaking load: 0.8 kN
  • Economical design with stable environmental performance

Application

FISH-4 provides cable anchoring on aerial telecommunications routes, including utility-pole connections, FTTX distribution and broadband infrastructure extensions. It is used in urban and rural last-mile projects and network-modernisation work.

The compact gripping body holds the cable while limiting excessive local stress on its sheath. Retained components help simplify installation. Apply the stated 30–70 m span range and cable dimensions when selecting this model for an overhead route.

General test method

Ultimate tensile testing measures the load a component can sustain under mechanical tension. Opposing pulling forces are applied until the specimen deforms or fractures. Measurements can include elongation, yield point, tensile strength and ultimate strength.

This method is used for pole-line suspension clamps, preformed guy grips, ADSS dead-end fittings, stainless steel banding, FTTH drop clamps and strain clamps. Endurance testing may combine tensile loading with thermal and oscillating stresses; applicable conditions are selected with reference to IEC 61284 for overhead-line fittings. Such tests can support product qualification and routine production quality control. This description explains the test method; it is not a model-specific test report.
