Dielectric FTTH Drop Wire Anchor ODWBC-I

Dielectric FTTH Drop Wire Anchor ODWBC-I

ODWBC-I is a dielectric drop-wire anchor for tensioning round or flat optical cables in aerial FTTH installations.

Features

  • Lightweight construction with tool-free assembly
  • Supports both round and flat optical drop cables
  • Durable UV-resistant plastic body
  • Opening attachment loop fits closed hooks or brackets
  • Round-cable range: 4–7 mm
  • Flat-cable width/height ranges: 6–10/2.5–4 mm
  • Specified span range: 30–50 m
  • Economical retention for outdoor networks

Application

ODWBC-I holds drop cables at poles, walls and distribution points between the optical distribution network and subscriber access routes. It is suitable for FTTH deployments, broadband expansion and telecommunications access infrastructure.

The integrated gripping arrangement uses textured contact surfaces to resist cable movement. Its UV-resistant plastic construction provides lightweight mechanical support for installations exposed to rain, sunlight and wind. Select the cable dimensions stated in the specification table for reliable cable seating.

General test method

Ultimate tensile testing measures the load a component can sustain under mechanical tension. Opposing pulling forces are applied until the specimen deforms or fractures. Measurements can include elongation, yield point, tensile strength and ultimate strength.

This method is used for pole-line suspension clamps, preformed guy grips, ADSS dead-end fittings, stainless steel banding, FTTH drop clamps and strain clamps. Endurance testing may combine tensile loading with thermal and oscillating stresses; applicable conditions are selected with reference to IEC 61284 for overhead-line fittings. Such tests can support product qualification and routine production quality control. This description explains the test method; it is not a model-specific test report.
