Explore ADSS and OPGW fittings

ADSS and OPGW have different cable constructions. Select an assembly specifically suited to the cable and its intended anchoring or support position.

Specify the cable before selecting the fitting

A reliable selection starts with the cable datasheet and line design. An anchor holds the cable at a designed termination or tension point, while a suspension fitting supports it along the route. The bracket and supporting structure must also be considered as part of the assembly.

  • Identify the cable as ADSS or OPGW and provide its outside diameter and construction.
  • State the required anchoring or suspension function, span and line angle.
  • Provide the specified mechanical load and any cable manufacturer restrictions.
  • Confirm pole or tower mounting details and the connection dimensions.
  • For OPGW, provide the grounding and complete assembly requirements for technical review.

Common applications

These fittings serve aerial telecommunications routes and optical cable installations on supporting structures. ADSS anchors and suspension clamps are selected for dielectric cable designs; OPGW fittings require a cable-specific assembly suitable for the optical ground wire. Always review the model specifications before procurement.
